I’m only 13 and I snore…LOUDLY, I happen to hate this and wish to find a way to stop ‘ snoring really embarrasses me; any suggestions on how to stop or what can help me stop? Help needs lots of answers please (:

My cat snores… loudly. It’s annoying when I’m doing homework because I hear it in the background. Is there any way to stop her from snoring without disturbing her nap?

The short answer is no, and the long answer is no. But cats sleep with a hair trigger response, so actually going over the petting her may rouse her enough that she will stop snoring, and then immediately go back to sleep, and hopefully not snore.

I snore when I sleep and I’m always tired because I think I don’t get restive sleep. What are some ways–like sleeping on my stomach, for example–that I can combat my snoring problem without having to go see a sleep specialist or have surgery?

Sounds like you might have sleep apnea which is very dangerous. My father almost died from it. When he went in to the dr for a sleep study he was taken off the study in the first 5 mins cause he stopped breathing 200+ times. You might not realize that you stop breathing when you are sleeping. Just for your best interests you really need to see a sleep specialists. If nothing comes of it they might just tell you to lose weight or what not but it would be a relief knowing you were ok if nothing comes of the test. Hope all is well.

ok, so im going round a friends to sleep on Friday, thing is i snore, and im very embarrassed about, it ive tried breathe right strips and they dont work, and i was wondering if there was a citrain way to stop snoring, or if theres any products i can buy that are really expensive, i live in the UK so somthing thats not like american.. thanks guys!

Usually the only thing you can do is have a medical procedure done. Try sleeping on your stomach (snoring is the worst when the person sleeps on their back). You might want to try using a cough drop while you fall asleep (not so good for your teeth, but it’s only for one night!).

My mother and sister claim that I snore when I’m asleep. I have caught myself snoring a couple times. I haven’t spent a night at anyone house but of this. Is there a way to stop snoring? My dad had the same problem for years. He tried everything from breathe strips to nasal sprays. I guess nothing worked cause he was still driving my mom nuts.
