how do you reduce snoring?

my husband snores and i can’t sleep at all at night.does anybody have tips and ideas about how to stop the snoring?

Get him to sleep on his side and make sure his head is elevated by a few inches.

    Have him try sleeping on his stomach. If that doesn’t work maybe he should see a doc to found out if he has a deviated septum (nose) or sleep apnea.

    buy snoring strips, they go over the nose and let the air flow go better
    thats the cheapest…
    the other way is to have sugery

    Try those strips that go across the nose and the throat spray..I think they are called "Breathe Right Strips" and I think the throat spray is from another company. However, it is possible that there is a sleep apnea problem if there is that much snoring. It would be a good idea if your husband sees your doctor to make sure that is not the cause of the snoring first, then go get the strips from there. Hope this helps!!!

    I agree with the Breate Right Strips. If that doesn’t help, he may have to go to a doctor/ sleep clinic to make sure it’s not anything life threatening.

    Yep, try the Breathe Right strips. If he drinks alcohol (and I don’t necessarily mean till he’s drunk) have him stop. That improved my hubby’s snoring immensely! You can also try the old fashioned "poke him when he wakes you up".
